A manifesto for an intellectual rebellion and enlightenment. Join the movement for beauty of thought and integrity in science

09.10.2026

If Plato were a modern legal scientist, he would be laughed out of the universities and his work would not be published by anyone. And why?

Do you know what is wrong with legal science and our societies? I will tell you. This is my short manifesto for an intellectual rebellion and enlightenment - a scream for beauty of human thought.

In modern scholarship, a thinker who writes like an artist with focus in beauty of thought, logic, and consequences of putting words on a paper, is a not usually seen as a serious scientist nowadays. I am saying this seriously. We hear talk about the need to be realistic, but when someone says out loud that we have a profound problem and is realistic: well, that is a problem.

We do not care anymore whether the text is beautiful or flows freely. Most scientific text is not tempting, it's like reading a collection of references put together to serve an unknown purpose.

To my experiece, often, the content and societal impacts of thoughts remain blurry as there is purposeful and accidental miscalculation of the weights of words. Twisting the meanings of concepts to suit some paid agendas is truly not unheard. That's not science, that is misuse of knowledge and power.

People really expect that good purpose directs science. Science serves the people, not the scientist's needs to gain status at any cost.

But in the modern world, the content is often a secondary factor, commercial usefulness and giving status to the "right kind of person" a priority. The amount of intelligence or impact truly is not always the decisive question when we credit thoughts or accept them as relevant.  In sum, there is no "pretty privilege" of thought in this modern society or its scientific practices. My aim is to make you think about the purpose of doing science. This is the first part.̀

So, I started this blog because I have seen some lack of beauty in thoughts and in action, in the industry I worked with during the past decade. I am defending my already published thoughts against ethical misconduct, which is also one reason for me to use my voice. Indeed, I have seen and experienced phenomena that are usually tied to unfair competition in the commercial markets: greed, egoism, and bad leadership. I didn't like that, nobody with moral capability does.

I have also met and connected with some great people who possess true beauty of thought. I am grateful for that. I have not had the chance to share my thoughts widely enough with these wonderful people: this blog is my channel for doing that.

I must say that I am a feminist as I know that equality in science is not happening. I claim that being a woman trapped in a certain kind of body can still be an obstacle for using your inner capabilities. During the last decade, I have learned that the way I am is the main weapon against me: there is always something wrong with me: Oh, "the failures in my existence". The problem is my body shape, my smile, my clothes, my thoughts, my kindness, my ability to see the balance between different views. Yes, I have learned that my thoughts cannot live in my body and kindness is a weakness: but I disagree with this "teaching". I must say that my thoughts and looks are not your business, that's my personal capital, which I share it under my own terms for others.

Just saying that how you treat others and understand yourself matters. If you cannot think properly or your thoughts do not carry beauty, don't do science. Nobody in their right mind likes egoistic and inequal science.

In sum, the newsflash is that disliking immorality does not require experiencing immorality: that's what the ordinary wise person knows.

Enjoy these thoughts.

I call all the scientist who carry beauty in their thoughts to join the rebellion against corruption and commercialism in science.

For freedom of science.

For equality in science.

For beauty of human thought.

For Truth.

For the sake of preserving integrity in science.
